Today in class, we’re going to explore topics and skills in moral philosophy.  We’ll look at some strategies for making moral arguments and excavating the moral philosophies underlying one’s opinions on specific “cases” or moral dilemmas, and we’ll also look at the big question of whether morality is absolute or relative.

Here’s a TED talk by Michael Sandel that we will watch that gives a good demonstration of moral argument.
